WINE 2005, the First Workshop on Internet and Network Economics (WINE 2005), took place in Hong Kong, China, December 15-17, 2005. The symposium aims to provide a forum for researchers working in Internet and Network Economic algorithms from all over the world. The final count of electronic submissions was 372, of which 108 were accepted. It consists of the main program of 31 papers, of which the submitter email accounts are: 10 from edu (USA) accounts, 3 from hk (Hong Kong), 2 each from il (Isreal), cn (China), ch (Switzerland), de (Germany), jp (Japan), gr (Greece), 1 each from hp. com, sohu. com, pl (Poland), fr (France), ca (Canada), and in (India). In addition, 77 papers from 20 countries or regions and 6 dot. coms were selected for 16 special focus tracks in the areas of Internet and Algorithmic Economics; E-Commerce Protocols; Security; Collaboration, Reputation and Social Networks; Algorithmic Mechanism; Financial Computing; Auction Algorithms; Online Algorithms; Collective Rationality; Pricing Policies; Web Mining Strategies; Network Economics; Coalition Strategies; Internet Protocols; Price Sequence; Equilibrium. We had one best student paper nomination: “Walrasian Equilibrium: Hardness, Approximations and Tracktable Instances” by Ning Chen and Atri Rudra. We would like to thank Andrew Yao for serving the conference as its Chair, with inspiring encouragement and far-sighted leadership. We would like to thank the International Program Committee for spending their valuable time and effort in the review process.

Thepresentvolumewasdevotedto thethirdeditionofthe InternationalSym- sium on Algorithmic Game Theory (SAGT), an interdisciplinary scienti?c event intended to provide a forum for researchers as well as practitioners to exchange innovative ideas and to be aware of each other's e?orts and results. SAGT 2010 took place in Athens, on October 18–20, 2010. The present volume contains all contributed papers presented at SAGT 2010 together with the distinguished invited lectures of Amos Fiat (Tel-Aviv University, Israel), and Paul Goldberg (University of Liverpool, UK). The two invited papers are presented at the - ginning of the proceedings, while the regular papers follow in alphabetical order (by the authors' names). In response to the call for papers, the Program Committee (PC) received 61 submissions.Amongthesubmissionswerefour paperswith atleastonecoauthor that was also a PC member of SAGT 2010. For these PC-coauthored papers, anindependent subcommittee (EliasKoutsoupias,PaulG. Spirakis, andXiaotie Deng) made the judgment, and eventually two of these papers were proposedfor inclusion in the Scienti?c Program. For the remaining 57 (non-PC-coauthored) papers, the PC of SAGT 2010 conducted a thorough evaluation (at least 3, and on average 3.9 reviews per paper) and electronic discussion, and eventually selected 26 papers for inclusion in the Scienti?c Program. An additional tutorial, “Games Played in Physics”, was also provided in SAGT 2010, courtesy of the academic research network Algogames (A??o?a????o) of the University of Patras.

The unique features of stock options have spawned numerous questions over how and when they are taxed, valued, and recorded for financial statement purposes. Disputes also arise over what government entity has jurisdiction to tax them, who has a legitimate claim to them in death, divorce, and bankruptcy, and whether they can be transferred at all. Until now and the publication of "Stock Options: Estate, Tax, and Financial Planning," the market has not had such comprehensive cradle-to-grave coverage of the tax, estate, and financial issues that can confront a person with stock options. The author was inspired to write the book after her client for whom she had just prepared a 20-year cash flow projection, died suddenly of cancer at the age of 57. He left behind his wife who was a schoolteacher, his two college-bound children -- and four million dollars of unexercised stock options. None of his advisors knew what to do. This able group included his money manager, his lawyer, trust officer, and the human resources administrator at his job. Instead, they all looked to the author, his CPA. There were so many questions and so few answers. Stock Options: Estate, Tax, and Financial Planning provides the answers. In addition, it raises many more questions for which there are no clear answers. It is a comprehensive guide for estate, tax, and financial planners who advise clients about employee stock options, human resources personnel who are presumed to know all about these important benefits, and for insiders who must know these things. Finally, it is also for the inquisitive-minded individual who wants to maximize the value of his or her stock options in a number of different life circumstances.
